Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 5, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how User Tracks (“UserTracks”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit usertracks.live, create an account, subscribe to our service, or contact us. By using our website and services, you agree to the practices described here.

UserTracks provides a real-time website traffic visualization display. There are two kinds of people this policy concerns: our customers (who create an account and run a dashboard), and the visitors to our customers’ websites (whose visits are counted and displayed). We describe how we handle data for each below.

Information We Collect

  • Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and basic profile information from your Google account so we can create and secure your account.
  • Billing information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number. We retain your subscription status and the customer and subscription identifiers Stripe returns so we can manage your plan.
  • Website visitor data. When you add our tracking snippet to your website, we collect limited, largely aggregate information about visits to that site — such as page views, the general source of the visit (search, social, direct, referral, email), approximate location derived from IP address (for example, country), and device type — in order to power your live dashboard.
  • Support and contact information. If you contact us or submit our contact form (hosted by HubSpot), we collect the information you provide, such as your name, email, and message.
  • Usage and technical data. Like most websites, our servers and infrastructure providers may log basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps for security and reliability.

Consent and Cookies

  • UserTracks is designed to be consent-aware. Before a visitor grants analytics consent, visits are counted in aggregate only, without setting cookies or persistent identifiers on the visitor’s device.
  • The tracking snippet includes an optional consent call. When you integrate UserTracks with your website’s consent banner, individual session tracking is enabled only after a visitor accepts analytics. You are responsible for configuring consent appropriately for your audience and applicable laws (for example, GDPR or CIPA).
  • Our own website uses only the cookies necessary to operate the site and, where applicable, the third-party services described below.

How We Use Information

  • To create, secure, and operate your account and dashboard.
  • To process payments, manage subscriptions, and send billing-related messages.
  • To generate and display the real-time and historical visitor visualizations you subscribe to.
  • To provide customer support and respond to your inquiries.
  • To maintain the security, reliability, and performance of our service, and to comply with legal obligations.

How We Share Information

  • We do not sell your personal information.
  • We share information with service providers who help us operate, including Google (authentication), Stripe (payments), Amazon Web Services (hosting and infrastructure), and HubSpot (contact form and communications). These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and privacy policies.
  • We may disclose information if required by law, to enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of UserTracks, our customers, or others.
  • If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

Data for Our Customers’ Website Visitors

  • When we collect website visitor data through the tracking snippet, we act as a processor on behalf of the customer who operates that website. That customer is responsible for providing appropriate notice to and, where required, obtaining consent from their visitors.
  • Because pre-consent visits are counted only in aggregate without persistent identifiers, this data is not used to build individual profiles of visitors.

Data Retention

  • We retain account and billing information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
  • Visitor analytics data is retained to power your dashboard’s live and historical views. You may contact us to request deletion of data associated with your account.

Your Rights

  • Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below and we will respond as required by applicable law.
  • You can also manage or revoke the access you granted through your Google account at any time in your Google account settings.

Children’s Privacy

  • Our service is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age required by applicable law. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

International Users

  • We operate in the United States and our infrastructure providers may process and store data in the United States and other locations. By using our service, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries that may have different data protection laws than your own.

Changes to This Policy

  • We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
